WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF STERLING WATER SERVICE?

We are Sterling Water, your local water experts since 1949. What began in a small garage in Ellsworth, Wisconsin, started with a simple mission: provide high-quality water to homes and businesses across western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota.

WHY IS STERLING YOUR LONG-TERM, LOCAL WATER EXPERT?

The company began in 1949 when W. Sterling, Jo Tangley and Frank Decker founded Culligan Soft Water in Ellsworth, WI. Their son Peter Tangley, and then their grandson, Bret Tangley eventually joined the business, which went through various moves, acquisitions and other business changes to become Sterling Water. Today the company owns and operates four Sterling Water locations: in Eau Claire, Rothschild and Waupaca in northern Wisconsin, and Sauk Center in central Minnesota.
